POOL DRY ACID-PH REDUCER WATERWELL 3KG
Product Description:
WaterWell pool Dry Acid is your pool’s best friend. A white, crystallized granular substance designed to maintain the health and balance of your pool’s water, it lowers pH levels effectively, giving you the same results as liquid acid but in a granular form.
Key Features:
- Effectiveness: Efficiently lowers pool pH levels.
- Granular Form: Easy-to-use granules offer an alternative to liquid acid.
- Safety: A safer option compared to hydrochloric acid, but still requires careful handling.
- Versatile: Suitable for pools, spas, and hot tubs.
Usage Directions (for a 50,000L pool):
- To Lower pH Level:
- Target Range: Ensure pH is between 7.2 – 7.6 for optimum sanitation and comfort.
- Testing: Begin by testing the pool’s pH level.
- Application: With the filter on, disperse 250g Dry Acid around the pool’s sides.
- Wait Time: Allow filtration for 3-4 hours, then retest and adjust pH if necessary.
- Additional Note: If using with vinyl or colored linings, first dissolve Dry Acid in a bucket of water before introducing to the pool.
- Caution: Never exceed 500 grams of Dry Acid at once.
- To Lower Total Alkalinity (TA):
- Turning Off: Begin by switching the pump off.
- Application: Mix 1KG of Dry Acid in 5 liters of water and pour this solution into the deep end of the pool in one spot.
- Wait Time: Keep the pump off for 15 minutes.
- Restart: Turn the pump back on and continue with your regular filtration. After 12 hours, check the TA level.
- Repeating: If needed, redo the process until the TA is within the desired range.
- Caution: Avoid adding more than 1KG of Dry Acid at once. Remember, 1KG reduces TA by 10ppm in a 50,000L pool.
Safety Guidelines:
- Precaution: Although easier to store than hydrochloric acid, Dry Acid still demands careful handling.
- Ideal Water Balance: The perfect pH for pool water is between 7.0-7.6. Maintain total alkalinity between 80 and 120ppm for best results.
- Usage Limit: Don’t exceed 150g of Dry Acid for every 10,000 liters of pool water. Avoid adjusting the pH without testing Total Alkalinity first.
Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions and keep the product out of children’s reach. Store in a cool, dry place away from other chemicals.
